Andersen Window Insight

DL Miner recently sent representatives to Andersen’s Minnesota factory to get the latest on their window and door innovations. We are constantly working with our top suppliers to be able to recommend new products and improve the job process. And of course, ensure we are following the latest installation protocol. Like us, they also seek new ideas from employees and share them internally. That’s a good way to foster innovation.

They introduced a new system that allows windows to lock together on site, rather than shipping oversize multiple window units. This requires fewer installers and results in a faster process.

Andersen now has window locks that can integrate into home security systems, allowing the user to be notified and see the orientation of all windows in the house remotely.

They are also rolling out multi-slide motorized doors that open and close at the touch of a button. That’s next level.
